Still Drawing!

Just a short post to confirm I'm still going strong and commissions are welcome-scroll down to check prices and postage. I'll try and post some updated drawings for variety.

Colour Me Happy

Hi all

A new job, study and a new commission have meant a long break in posting new work, but I'm back, and in colour!

An A4 drawing can be bought coloured for $40 AUSD + postage. Above is an example (and one of my favourite periods, the SCW). It's essentially thin gouache washes to keep the detail of the drawings, but also provide some interest and depth. Hope you like it.

I have some more drawings ready for scanning and will upload in the next few days.

The 2 drawings above are A4 size on 110 gsm paper, the 2 below A3 size on 220gsm-Im trying out the heavier (and more expensive) paper. The 220 is also an ivory colour rather than a white. The first A3 drawing is sepia, the bottom black.

Welcome to Battle Lines Military Drawing

Hi

Welcome to my new blog-"Battle Lines Military Drawing". As a wargamer and amateur artist I aim to provide original, inexpensive pen and ink military drawings. I'm not a professional graphic designer or illustrator. These are unique sketches rather than uniform plates or illustrations.

I will post scans of drawings as I finish them. The scans above are A3 sized pen and ink drawings of the Spanish Civil War.

I'm based in Newcastle NSW Australia. The sketches come unframed in two sizes:

1. A4 size on 110 gsm cartridge paper. These are $15AUS each. Postage and packing is $10 AUS airmail.

2. A3 size on 110 gsm cartridge paper. These are $25AUS each. Postage and packing is $15AUS airmail.

I also do commissons at the above prices and sizes. Payment is by Paypal only. Drawings are sent at buyers risk.
